EMDR Processing and Intensives
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
- 1 hr1 hour
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy which has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a first-choice treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. For a single trauma reprocessing is generally accomplished within 3-4 sessions. If it takes longer, you should see some improvement within that amount of time. Phases One through Three lay the groundwork for the comprehensive treatment and reprocessing of the specific targeted events. Intensives can be in longer blocks of time to target trauma in two or three sessions in one day. Reach out for more information and understanding.
